MyD3 is 4.4 V8,
<br />
When terrain mode is turned off, it is difficult for the transmission to increase to the highest gear.
<br />
When the terrain mode is "Grass/Gravel/Snow", the transmission is normal and can reach the highest gear.
<br />
In addition, my manual transmission mode is not working.
<br />
<br />
There are no fault codes including transmission, engine, terrain mode, HDC...
<br />
<br />
I know that the transmission program varies depending on the terrain...<br /><br /><a href="https://disco4.com/forum/post2364686.html?#2364686">view forum post</a></span><br />

Hello all.
<br />
<br />
Weird one. I've got a 2007 GS which I have fitted a Sony double din android auto radio to. All works fine but when I drive off in the day time it switches to night mode as if the lights are on. The minute I come to a stand still it goes back to day mode. Again move off and night mode kicks in. At night time with lights on it stays in night mode no issues.
<br />
<br />
Just wondered if anyone else has experienced this.

I bought a 2006 D3 the other week and she’s been perfect so far apart from the fact the first start of the day takes a little while (5+ seconds of cranking), when it does eventually fire up a load of white smoke comes out of the exhaust briefly (I assume it’s just the unburnt diesel from cranking) and it then runs fine for the rest of the day, I can come back 4 hours later and it starts on the turn of the key.

It looks as if eight years of Disco ownership are coming to an end for me. The car lost power at 70mph on the A303, I managed drive off at the nearest exit but once stopped, although it would start it wasn’t capable of moving. AA towed me to a safe spot and upon looking down the oil filler neck the camshaft bearing cap that you can see is missing a bolt. I am therefore assuming that the r/h cam chain has failed.
<br />
125,000 miles doesn’t seem very high for that sort of failure to me....<br /><br /><a href="https://disco4.com/forum/post2364162.html?#2364162">view forum post</a><br />_________________<br />Simon.

Hi all. I’m in a bit of a situation. My car has been standing for 3 1/2 months due to a problem with the steering pump overhaul. Anyway, my problem is the suspension has dropped and won’t rise. The max it can be driven is about 30mph, as it bounces, uncontrollably. Has anyone got any ‘tricks’ I can try to get this moving? Note, the compressor works to about 17psi.

My EAS appeared to drop overnight. I checked it out by pulling fuse F26, measuring the vehicle height in the evening and then again the next morning. I did the test twice; once at offroad height and the second time at standard height. My findings were at:
<br />
<br />
Offroad height: front drops by 10mm on each side, back drops by 3mm on each side
<br />
Standard height: front drops by 16mm on each side, back drops by 7mm on each side

Bottom of the automatic box is unfortunately not so dry. I'm suspecting the untrusty ZF6HP26 sleeve...
