My local mechanic spoke to dealer when ordering parts and they told him I will need to have alignment carried out after work and only they can do it. Is this true. I had new tyres fitted six months ago by large tyre fitting Co near Basingstoke and they carried out alignment for me, they had all the gear and seemed to know what they were doing and charged less than half what stealer has quoted.
