Hi All,

I have finally got my 20'' stormers and 285/50/20 LTZ's on.

Anybody else run these on their D3 and what pressures do you use?

I have put 3mm spacers on and it seems fine - anybody had any trouble?

Cheers in advance,

The standard locking wheel nut and socket are of such poor quality, I would advise everyone to check them for splits and rust. I had to resort to knocking the alloy cap off, drilling a hole in the remains and welding a bolt on to get them off. Luckily I was at home and not by the side of the road or the middle of the outback.

view forum post
Hello Chaps ,

The above tyres were fitted to my D3 and were inflated to the following...

Front 30psi

Rear 33psi

Just wondering what other users of this tyre have the pressures set at?

A friend was looking at the D4 last week and noticed that there were Dunlops fitted to the front and Pirelli fitted to the rear. This is a brand new car straight from the factory, as you can imagine it took a few minutes to sink in and several checks of the tyres as we were both in disbelief. Anyway, drove down to the dealer and they were as surprised. Several emails to the factory or where ever and the reason they believe this happened was due to Pirelli having a problem with supply so LR...

view forum post
Currently on Pirelli Scorpions. Seem to have done around 16K miles and now need to replace two.

Pirelli's again, or Michelin or what?

Car is mainly used on road and am looking for good handling, ride and economy.

	Hi guys

I am relatively new to the forums but can not seem to find sufficient opinion/information on the Goodyear Wrangler ATR R19. The D4 I'm buying comes out with Goodyear Wrangler HP R19, apparantly not that good off-road. I wanted to get Pirelli ATR's but can not get 5 until October 2010 in SA. I can not wait that long. The alternatives are the Goodyear ATR OR MTR R19. Any advice on kms achieved, fuel consumtion, road noise and sidewall ply # on the above tyres welcome....

view forum post
Can you help me!

On my Discovery 3 HSE i have the factory built option of tyre pressure sensors. I bought the car second-hand about three months ago (year 2007), and since having this car the tyre presser sensors have never worked and i have a warning light on the dash.

When i look though the computer it sometimes tell me the check all tyres pressure and some time check spare (warning light go off) and other times tyre pressure monitoring system fault.

	Dear all

Have just picked up a new to me d3 with almost new Pirreli ATRS on the front and brand new P Zeros on the rear. I asked the garage to match the front but alas they have fitted P Zeros. In fairness to them they say there are none in stock and when I have tried to find myself I can confirm this. So I am at the point where 1) I swap the front to match the rears with P Zeros 2) Leave as is 3) Leave as is until I find some ATRS then match up the rear to the fronts

Went to have our existing tyres swapped over to our new D4 HSE alloys this afternoon. All was going well until they got to the last one.
The 'fitter' put the old wheel and tyre on the machine to remove the tyre, we watched as he was texting and prodding around at our tyre / wheel.
After a few mins he called me over and said he could not fit it to the new...

view forum post
Are BF Goodrich AT's the all terrains to go for if I'm looking for sidewall strength? I seem to have bad luck with sidewalls. All the punctures I had with the Coopers on my Defender (4 punctures before I switched to BF Goodrich) were in the sidewall. With the BF Goodrich tyres... only 1 puncture with a nail in the tread. So I'm kinda in favour of the BFGs. Unfortunately BF Goodrich only seem to make 245/75R17 and 265/70R17 for the D3's 17" wheels, both of which are the same diameter, so...

view forum post
