Hi folks, I have a 2m awning off my old D2. I have the short roof rails on my D3 but no cross bars and the rack that came with it is a pile of scrap 😡. Anyway, I thought perhaps I could bolt the brackets straight onto the roof rails and I have a "foot" off the old rack that would fill the gap due to lower rail fittings at the front ( or possibly by the extended rail). I would shorten the L brackets so they don't protrude over the roof much and also use 3 or 4 instead of the...

view forum post
Hi all,
I’ve got a 2004 Discovery and when I turn the engine off it makes a sort of weird loud buzzing noise maybe 4 or 5 times or so. It’s only just started yesterday so I don’t know if this is consistent but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what it could be or how to fix it.
TIA

view forum post
Have done some searching but can’t see that anyone has done this.

I’m thinking about spraying my interior A pillar trims either side of the windscreen from standard cream to black.

I am not planning to do the entire headlining etc (although I’m sure that would look amazing) but the reason is that in some light and conditions there’s glare on the inside of the windscreen from the cream colour.

Taking them off is child’s play and...

view forum post
_________________
1998 Defender 110 TUM HS FFR Hard Top XD WOLF
