Should the car unlock when I walk up to it without taking the keys out of my pocket? and lock when i walk away from it?

Hi all,

Does anyone know if the new 2011 disco has any changes or a better fuel efficiency?
I recently placed an order for the disco, but opted for a 2010 model that was just coming of the production line because of the delivery issues with new models. Will be taking delivery in the next few weeks with the 60 plate.
The dealer assured me that the only difference is a diesel filter on the 2011 models to meet EU regulations. This won't have no effect on the...

Just about finalised my ideal D4 spec..

I'm going down the personal export/import route (sourcing a LHD D4 in the UK, for registration in Switzerland) as the exchange rate is in my favour but I'm still looking to secure something meaningful of the export MSRP (hard to compare as export specification is quite bare but most of the options appear to be priced the same as in the UK, albeit excluding VAT).

I'll obviously try Land Rover direct tourist sales...

I'm wavering on which to get...

A Disco 4 or a Defender Double Cab Pick-up.

I've had a couple of Defenders and I always felt like every time I got in one I was going on an adventure!
They have bags of character.

I'm interested to hear what you all think.

Does your D4 have character?
I can't help thinking that I'll want a Disco when I'm in my Defender and vice-versa! ...

My D4 hse has come with this feature enabled - every time I lock the damn thing the mirrors fold in! Can I disable it or is it a dealer thing?
