Is there a way to use the FBH to heat the car (without turning ignition on) for camping/sleeping in the back of the car.Ideally a remote to heat the car when needed without running out the car battery, does it require a leisure battery perhaps or a voltage cutout!

view forum post
_________________
Discovery 4

I wonder if anyone on here can help please.
I’ve tried over on the FFRR Forum, but have just been told to look in a workshop manual, which doesn’t make sense at all.
And I’ve emailed Altox several times but they don’t appear to want to respond.

Hi there! thanks of the invaluable resource and thanks to the forum I've managed to get the FBH working!

I've noticed there is an air filter element (little cylindrical black box) that is attached to most LR3 FBH but not on the LR4 units. I've read that it is a noise suppressing component for the air intake filter.

Is this necessary? does adding one to an LR4 FBH impede the airflow rate? is it an issue having this intake pipe exposed to the elements?

view forum post
_________________
Discovery 4
