Rubbish Bag - Ladder Mounted

I’m looking for an externally mounted rubbish bag like Trasharoo or Overland Gear Guy. Overland Gear Guy appears to be out of stock in the UK and I can find one retailer for trasharoo. So, what are you guys using? Any UK companies or local companies doing good products?

Not sure about a rear wheel carrier yet so it needs to be able to fit a rear ladder for now. Great to see pics, if you have any, for inspiration!

Thanks in advance!

There's the ARB TRACK PACK BAG. Seems rather expensive though for what it is / a bag to keep rubbish in. Flat Dog have them.

I briefly thought about mounting something similar on the ladder, but talked myself out of it as it would interfere with lifting the tailgate, and besides, in the UK some Censored would probably nick it. Big Cry

In the past, on the rare occasion I've had to do this, I have just clipped a big black ortlieb roll top bag to the back. They are waterproof both ways so keep stuff clean and easily hosed out. clip the top to the ladder and add a bungee cord around it to stop it swinging around. No pics sorry - not had to do it too often due to lack of wild 4x4 camp spots in the UK Big Cry

Like this one: https://www.escape-watersports.co.uk/equip...35l-detail

You can buy cheaper but I like the ortlieb material, it rolls well but is also tough. The one on the link may be a little small. Not sure how much Censored you want to cart around Laughing

I also use a big 100 litre one of these to carry firewood in the car and stop bugs and wood dust getting everywhere. You can also then keep your firewood dry outside the tent.

I've used a dry bag in the past, you know the orange things you use when wanting to keep stuff dry canoeing etc.

Have you tried these people? I've no affiliation to them but have used them in the past.

Can't you just push all your rubbish under a hedge ? Seems popular round these parts. Sad

Thanks gentlemen, very helpful! I think I'll just try it with a dry bag and either tie it to the ladder or on top of the roof tent then. Maybe I'll get two slightly smaller ones as it seems it could be a handy solution for hiking boots etc too and definitely good for taking firewood out with me.

James W, Norway is the place to be for wild camping and scenery... I say that as a Scotsman with a Coloradian partner. Even she agrees it's hard to compete with Norway on that front. You do have to deal with pints that cost around ten pound though.....
