Rugby - Sam Warburton retires
I know there are many rugby fans on here, but Sam has decided to retire at the age of 29, citing injuries
74 Caps for Wales. 5 for the Lions, Captained Wales and the Lions and lead the Lions to a win against Australia and a histopric draw v NZ last year

A big loss to Welsh rugby, sad for him too having to retire relatively young. It’s a hard, demanding game and he’s had more than his fair share of injuries. Good luck to him in the future.

That's great news ...... now if only every other member of the Welsh team would also retire, that means there's a slim chance for Scotland to beat Wales.
Seriously, he was a damn fine player and will be a big loss to the game.
Nice bloke too .....even though he's Welsh.
Hope he gets more TV 'punditry' work (& even replaces Jonathan Davies). ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

I wish he'd replace JD also, got soooooo annoying over the past few years.
The BBC had him this year, I think ITV should nab him ready for RWC Japan next year
