A Run on the Moors
Had a trip up in to the North York Moors on Sunday. Took a few photos. Not just Discos, even a couple of Deafeners made it without shaking themselves apart.

The ford is at NZ779066 the entrance from the north bank is a bit of a tight turn in a narrow space for a D4 but quite possible with a spotter. There's another ford just upstream as well but someone has made a mess and upset the locals by going off the track there. MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added

Unfortunately there's a constant weekend procession of 4x4's using that ford since it was published on the internet some years ago, not all are sensible, and have really turned the locals against greenlaners. Its not in the middle of nowhere and is a lane that leads to several farms and houses.Club Pie n Pea

Yep we had a discussion with a land owner a couple of weeks ago, a lot of off piste activity near one of the houses, coming up hill from a ford near by. If I spot anyone its going to be out with the camera and reported; they're going to get lanes closed and they don't care, because they will still drive them anyway ersClub N.E.R.D.s

Real shame as always the few daft ones end up spoiling it for the sensible ones, gangs of bikes not helping either. Locals don't really bat an eyelid at a smart Disovery traveling sensibly round our lanes, its the jacked up, stickered up, camo trousered, rig booted, hi viz'ed, Jungle trekker tyred, half brained, weekend heros in groups of 10 that are causing the problem.Club Pie n Pea

Some Great Pictures there. The Ford looks tight!
Shame about the other ford and people abusing it! Really frustrates me that! Black D4 December 2014
