"When you fire that first shot, no matter how right you feel, you have no idea who's going to die! You don't know who's children are going to scream and burn. How many hearts will be broken. How many lives shattered. How much blood will spill, until everybody does what they were always going to have to do from the very beginning: SIT DOWN AND TALK!"

Ford prison doesn't really cover much of either, there are 2 industrial estates, a market on part of the runway, a rifle range and several other businesses. There are lots of graves stones in Clymping church for those who lost their lives there.DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

My first "proper" job when I left school was at Ford Airfield. I worked for Francis Concrete (part of Tarmac and situated alongside their Topblock factory) as a trainee surveyor/estimatorI know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Was that when Bob Francis still owned it? All the recycling takes place around there now for the whole of West Sussex, but I think Top Block are still there.DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Aaaaah yes the 80's when Tarmac were buying up everything and were huge in contracting.
A Tarmac QS once told me what TARMAC stood for and there weren't any pleasantries in that
