Safari Snorkel
SWMBO has offered to contribute towards buying a Safari Snorkel as long as I don't try and fit it by myself!
Before she changes her mind, is there any kind soul in the Essex, Kent area with the expertise to help me fit it?Clubs Mantec, Tasmods, LEDS, AT2s on 18s, Maxxis Bighorns on 17s, Remote FBH, BAS. ReMap, BSS., RLD Personalised SWP., Safari Snorkel, Faultmate, Three Musketeers & MUD

I admire your enthusiasm Neil, but I dont think its something I would tackle in a pub car park, in the dark TBH. My RAI was fitted on a meet, in the dark and that took long enough with Guys who knew what to do.
I would gladly give Phil a hand, but the Safari fitment is a bit more involved, like More screw holes, and removing and sealing the airbox etc etc.

Hi Nick. Reckon you should be in the Guiness Book of World Records for the time it took you to swap our front bumpers!!
Took me and a mate a whole day a while back to fit a Southdown snorkel to my D1. I'd told SWMBO it would only be a couple of hours and seriously got it in the neck because we were supposed to be going out! Never got there and she chooses to remind me frequently.
Basically looking for someone wh has fitted the Safari type before to supervise me!Clubs Mantec, Tasmods, LEDS, AT2s on 18s, Maxxis Bighorns on 17s, Remote FBH, BAS. ReMap, BSS., RLD Personalised SWP., Safari Snorkel, Faultmate, Three Musketeers & MUD

Phil are we talking about the Raised Air Intake bit, or the whole assembly sealed up to the airbox In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
Why not come to Bala Jason and fit it up there - then we can All have a laugh !

Warren, why would I want to drive ALL the way up there after a WEEK on the HGV, errrrrr Dont think so......Easy for office bound peeps, but a drive to Bala after the mileage I do is a no go TBH.#
Andrew, I know that the airbox needs modifying/sealing, but how much more involved is the Safari. I dont know the answer, hence asking
