United Kingdom 2007 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Manual Zermatt SilverDiscovery 3

The biggest problem with breathers is sudden changes in temperature such as wading, sand driving doesn't cause the rapid contraction or expansion that wading does so you should be OK with the standard breathers...
Not had any issues with mine after 2 Morocco 'Desert Storm Challenge' events or three Tunisia trips

There is a modified breather to prevent this, safe VIN coincides with 08MY - ish... what about the rear diff & transfer box? it's a good mod but you need to keep an eye on the filter - perhaps mount it the other way round so that the muck is visible?

Sorry 10forcash, my English is not so good, so I didn't understand properly.
My D3 is a MY08, do you mean that for my car there is an original LR modified breather for the differentials and gear box?

To Sonic3d: I see from your avatar that you are very fit!! Rolling with laughter
