[For Sale] 09 D3 HSE
Back up for sale, if that’s ok with the Admin? except for the price and mileage, nothing else has changed. Just haven’t had the time to strip it down or do any work on it.
Land Rover Discovery 3 HSE 2.7
2009
Zermatt Silver
Mileage 119,000 miles
FSH
£6800
Along with the usual HSE Spec it has
3 working keys
Been Re-mapped and EGR’s deleted
Belts done at the 7 year point
Mega flush done May 2021
Front bearings replaced March 2020
Prop shaft replaced Oct 2020
All 4 corners, new discs and pads Oct 2019
Tracking done Oct 2019
And it’s the last of the D3’s so benefits from an uprated oil pump housing, so no crankshaft problems.
Accessories fitted
Beanie, Grill.
RLD 19” spare wheel protector
D3 original rear LED light units, driver’s side cracked but works perfectly and never failed an MOT.
MMJ Piano Black interior
RR Sport steering wheel
BlackVue Front facing camcorder
Cubby Fridge & Lid
Brodie phone holder with iPad and iPhone adapter.
GIVF Multimedia interface for rear parking camera and TV
LED bulbs throughout.
Leasure battery with split charger and socket panel in the boot.
Merc bottle Jack with adapter.
Removable tow bar with 2 working keys
Large cargo net
Rear boot protector
Front rubber mats.
Front & Rear genuine LR carpet mats.
FBH remote control, not fitted.
LR 2 bike carrier, not fitted as it’s the one for a fixed tow bar.
Rear headrest monitors and headphones, a black leather set and a material set from a freelander. Never fitted didn’t have the electrical knowledge.
Trolly Jack adapter
A None BT IID Tool, in my name for the D3 but can be changed over by BAS for a small fee. £25 for me about 3 years ago.
Body work is in a fair condition and could do with some TLC, with dents on each corner of the rear bumper, but nothing drastic though and the Passenger side CV joint cover needs replacing, advisory on the MOT.
Everything works as it should, air suspension, Automatic hand brake, seats, mirrors and the AC is freezing.
With the exception of some of the door trim, I have all the original parts that where removed and will include them in the sale along with anything else D3 i find.
Plus if I get the full asking price I will include the Direct 4x4 roof tent and awning and all that goes with it, for no other reason than it’s a pain to remove.
This has been a great car to own and drive and I’ll be sorry to see it go and I’m only selling as I’m moving on to a camper van, but hopefully someone on here will get a fantastic D3 and continue the adventure.

Some more pictures, I did forget about the paint of the wheel arch and the window tints bubbling one the passenger doors. On the plus side it started first turn of the after 3 weeks just sitting there. Now it hasn’t seen a bucket of water or a hoover for some time, but polishes up lovely inside and out

BTW guys, have been researching bits for my own benefit:
You can buy a whole door with window for less than £100 in oem same paint
You can buy a good condition bumper for around £90 in OEM colour
LED rear light, less than £50
Eyebrows, you can buy either new for less than £50 unpainted or used for the same with paint
These are all not big issues, just a shame I've already bought another

I’m over from the defender2 site looking at discos whilst I’ve got my 110 off the road for TLC. I’m keen to know a bit more about your D3. I’m guessing I’ll be needing to post a few more before sending a PM. So I’ll show this to the other half, and see what she thinks. But whilst I’m here, is the RRS wheel hooked up for heating too or just style mod?

Just the normal D3 controls, couldn’t stretch the budget to the heated one

By TLC you mean more welding ? I think mine was more weld than chassis when I sold it... how's the weather where you are ?I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

Sadly yes - just above the arb’s. It’s had a rear xmember but that’s all so far. The list is getting bigger for stuff to beaver away with though!! Probably similar to yours as I’m Burghead - so salty 😂

Very close to me... just up the A96... I'm a bit further inland but over winter the levels of salt on the roads probably exceed those in the sea
One more post and you'll be able to pm about the car...I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!
