[For Sale] 2003 Mini Cooper S Blue/White roof
We are putting our Mini Cooper S up for sale. It's been great but needs have changed and it is surplus to requirements now.
Here's what you need to know:
2003 Mini Cooper S R53 1.6i 16v Supercharged
Standard condition, no modifications
Blue metallic with white roof (no leaky sunroof), mirrors and wheels (NO STRIPES!!)
Black leather with blue accents and blue carpets
Harmon Kardon sound system upgrade
Kenwood head unit with Bluetooth integration for phone
Climate control (not just aircon) rare option
Electric windows
Heated screen
Central locking
101k FSH & MOT'd until August 18
I've recently replaced the bypass valve as the car felt down on power - this made a huge improvement
The car was serviced with a BMW Inspection 3 from 1320 (renowned Mini specialists) about a month ago as it was due, as part of this they also had a front seal replaced as it was leaking oil. They then performed a leakdown test on the engine which it passed happily (means more to those that would like to mod it with a smaller supercharger pullet)

The car is up for sale at £1900 - this is cheap but it isn’t a pristine example.
Has had recent service and both front and rear brake pipes replaced, rear brake calipers, plus power steering pump.

These early R53 car are utterly amazing value for the smiles per mile (and the sound).

If in the know you don't bother with a JCW... get a 17% pulley or higher with an upgraded intercooler.

Agreed 100% Dubbs. Very few JCWs had the JCW suspension or brake upgrade, so that leaves 380cc injectors vs 330cc, an 11% reduction pulley, a tweak to the intake routing and a remap.
A standard R53 Cooper S with a 17% pulley, aftermarket CAI and remap will do the same job and more.
There are a lot of "fake" JCW out there

Absolutely which is why a cheap cooper s with a Lohen or 1320 upgrade is far better than any JCW. I did my homework first MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)

Up for sale - we’ve been using the car ad hoc for bits and pieces but I’m really not using it at all with the Uber barge in residence.
£1900 for a quick sale. It’s not perfect but some TLC will get you a bargain.
