[For Sale] 2006 Discovery 3 Now on Ebay! With a twist!!
AD REF 230529-103

Hello everyone, I'm selling my pre March 2006 (cheap tax) Discovery 3. It's done 193000miles and comes with 11 months MOT. I bought it at auction in August 2020. I specifically bought the base model so there is less to go wrong.
Since I bought it I have been slowly turning it into an over lander. In 2021 I had the suspension replaced with coil springs and the bigger Terraferma lifted springs fitted with the box fitted to maintain all the traction control settings. In 2022 I took it to a garage in Liverpool who removed the body undersealed everything, repaired the rear of both sills, fitted a suspension poly bush kit, range rover style rear lights, front bumper and winch, rock sliders etc (I have pics of said work). It has a set of Wolfrace alloys with Insa Turbo tyres, its had a new front prop shaft, I fitted leather front and rear seats, It has a roof rack, it also comes with the original spare wheels and front bumper, it also comes with Shackles, straps and ground anchor. All the extras I have bought and paid to have fitted amount to well over £5000.
Bad bits, paintwork scratched by trees (I was going to get it raptor painted), the drivers door doesn't always lock off the fob, the passenger side rear door doesn't unlock, the rear boot is rigged up to a cable tie to be able to open it, the key fob has seen better days but works, the radio reception is poor, the winch and spotlights need wiring up correctly, the winch need an isolator switch fitting (supplied), the rear disc splash plates need replacing (supplied)
Viewing is promoted and highly recommended. The nearside rear 7th seat needs a repair/weld so it's unable to lift/open ATM. It drives 100% no gearbox or torque converter issues. It does however need an O-ring replacing on a pipe below the airbox, it's sucking in air and has a slight flat spot when accelerating off the line (NOW FIXED).
I've given her a clean inside today, and the outside has been cleaned after the photos were taken, but in all fairness needs doing again. If you want anymore pics or info just ask.
My contact number is 07544 079 050
Thx for looking
Scott
QUICK UPDATE, It's only had 2 previous owners and it has S/H up to 88200 miles, I also have the bill of sale when I bought it. I also found the invoice for £3000 worth of work when the body was removed and the chassis treated as well as the service.
FURTHER UPDATE. IT NO LONGER COMES WITH THE 270 degree awning with sides still in the box. This is why I have lowered the price.
I'm selling because I'm hanging up my driving gloves, I've only advertised it for sale on this forum for now. I have now fixed the missing Oring and the flat spot is now cured, and I have just had fitted a new brake master servo and modified vacuum pipe. With this in mind I think the truck is worth every penny of the now £6000 ovno asking price. What you waiting for?
IT'S NOW ON EBAY...https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/155660410647.

Hi Scott,
Surprised I've not seen you around, that's quite a beast of a Disco! If I had the time to make good use of it, I'd love to take that on and carry on your project. But sadly families and houses taking priority at the moment.
Best of luck with the sale, hope you come across the new owner soon.

I've had D1 and D2, they are not that much more capable off road than the D3 but drive absolutely on road once they are jacked up on steds lol. I've also got a BMW G450X Enduro bike for sale. Take care mate.

Hi,
think you would be better just "Bumping" your for sale thread with an update than raising a New topic just to say its been updated, each time you update the thread it goes back on the New post lists anyway.
