The Disco has to go. I've decided that we no longer need the size or 7 seats so it's time to move on. I've bought a Freelander 2. Happy with the Freelander but it's not a Disco so not entirely overjoyed at selling up.
Details:
We've had her for approx 3-4 years bought off friends who were emigrating. 240k now on clock.
Things done include:
EGR Valves done by Bodsy along with comp update. New Coolant tank. New suspension air reservoir. Replaced the rubbish spare wheel with a full size wheel. All belts done inc Cambelt and water pump. New alternator. LR Roof Bars added.
Known issues:
The suspension goes orange warning and I've done nothing about it as we don't go off road or need to raise or lower. Not a difficult fix I believe.
The tailgate brake light had a crack in it which I have repaired with fibreglass.
Probably due brake pads.
It's now declared SORN and is out of MOT but it sailed through the last MOT no problem.
I'm open to offers. WeBuyAnyCar are offering £1500 so around that would do.

So it’s a 2007, and no mention of an oil pump replacement GLWTS.D3 owned from new, P017 brake recall, BAS FBHIC, new FBH, LR013487 oil pump, new water pump. RRS front lower suspension arms. New suspension compressor/ relay. New Denso alternator. CuNifer rear brake pipes. New GKN rear propshaft. New HPFP belt & tensioner. New A/C Condenser.NO WARRANTY for many many years.
