Thanks Chris,
I originally bought the G4 to go travelling using a roof tent, but as time has gone on and plans have developed, I’ve decided a full expedition vehicle is better suited to the type and length of trips we hope to undertake.
With this in mind, I bought an ex-German army Unimog U1300L recently with the plan of turning it into a full expedition vehicle.
To that end, I need both the room on the driveway, and the proceeds from the G4 sale (not forgetting a very understanding wife).
There’s also a LR 101 Forward Control hiding behind the G4 if you look carefully. That was going to fit the bill until I realised it wasn’t large enough to accommodate 2 people, cooking and showering facilities. Should have done more homework first, but then I’ve always tended to jump straight into things and have enjoyed the last 18 months restoring it.
Plan to put that up for sale too in the next month, once it’s taxed (for free as a historic vehicle).
The whole family will be sorry to see the G4 go - one of the best family vehicles around in our experience.

Looks lovely that, as much as I've been looking at D3s I can't justify a G4 version lol think it was yourself I met in Sainsbury's earlier in the year?

Will keep an eye out for that forward control going up for sale though - was the first thing I noticed in the pics lol

Yep - that was me in Sainsbury’s a few months ago.

The 101 went up for sale today on the 101 owners club forum. No posts to external sites allowed on this board though.

Price reduced to £18k

Well, sadly I’ve had no interest as the price I was hoping for.
So - price now reduced to £18,000.
The Prospeed Rock Sliders have been removed & newly powder coated so I’m selling them seperately.
