[For Sale] 2010 Stornoway Grey D4 XS with a few extras £5800
For sale is my 2010 Land Rover Discovery 4 XS 3.0 TDV6 automatic, finished in Stornoway Grey metallic with Black leather interior. It has covered 146k miles, has service history, is HPI clear and has MOT until October 2025. Used daily so milage will go up.
Interior wise it's in good condition it has aged very well with the usual marks to be expected. I intentionally seek out these mid spec models as they have the important nice things but have no leaky sunroofs and no rear air con to worry about corroding pipes etc. 4x4 info and timed climate have been activated, standard spec includes heated electric power fold mirrors, electric windows, climate control with nice cold AC, heated front seats, HK audio with subwoofer and DAB, front and rear parking sensors etc
Exterior wise in my opinion it's in good condition for it's age and mileage, I have photographed it as honestly as possible but would encourage you to come and view It in person. I think it cleans up nicely and is very presentable. It had a lanoguard treatment prior to my ownership which I topped up on and in the cills when I fitted the new tree sliders. It had a raised air intake fitted externally when I got it, it wasn't plumbed in to the air box but that's something I have since rectified. I have fitted a set of five 18 inch alloys from a new shape defender along with five new Michelin Latitude Cross tyres in the correct size for a discovery.
Mechanically it is in good working order, the engine is very strong, gearbox is smooth, air suspension works as intended and the transfer box goes in an out of low range. Front discs and pads are new Brembo items. I took it on a mild arranged coast to coast green lane trip earlier this year (on different wheels and tyres) and it performed flawlessly, the centre diff locks automatically as it should and the special programs make it so easy it feels like your cheating. It's towed our caravan on four occasions, two were short trips, one was 110 miles each way and recently to North Wales and back without any issues. Timing belts replaced in 2020 at 121k, gearbox serviced at 135k.
Overall I think this a really good example of a D4 in its age, mileage and price range. I've done around 10k in it, aside from a service and brakes all I've done is fit a new updated top radiator hose (the originals rub on and get cut by the engine cover and the clamp can push the intake elbow out of line) a new secondary turbo pressure sensor and a new drive belt and tensioner. Has never failed an MOT.
Located in SS17 Thurrock Essex, asking £5800 ono including the tow bar.

I can add a working Webasto to its list of positives after this morning!
They're difficult to price, I think £6300 might be a bit optimistic having done some research so I'll say £5800 with the tow bar, can knock a bit off if it's not needed.
