This would work as a fault reader on a D4 too, wouldn't it?

Hi James, I would have to be guided by other members as to whether this would fault code read on a D4.
As I said, it was used on my D3.
Perhaps others will be able to confirm or you might need to speak with BAS directly for peace of mind before purchasing.
Cheers

Confirmed via BAS that this is for D3 only as it didn't support D4 as a remap box so is unexpected to work as a fault reader either for the D4. I would have bid on it otherwise.
Hope that helps someone else looking to buy it for use as a fault reader.

Thanks for confirming James.
The BAS box will fault code read and clear on the D3 only, not D4.
Grab yourself a useful tool for your D3.

Andy... do you know if this would clear an airbag fault code? And could it reset the derive indicator and pre heater if locked?

Hi Chris, appreciate your enquiry.
To be honest I'm not sure if I have the answers, all I can say is for the sort of money I am asking it might be worth taking a punt.
Cheers
