[For Sale] BBS Faultmate MSV2 Extreme
As I no longer have my D3 now have my BBS Faultmate MSV2 Extreme for sale.
This comes with:
MSV2 Extreme Unit
Mains PSU
OBD to MSV2 lead
MSV2 Serial to PC USB adaptor
BBS want 50 EURO's to swap to a new VIN (as they are VIN locked) so is £150 a fair price I recon. Ill put you in touch with BBS to do the VIN swap. An easy process for a D3 to D3. So for around £200 quid you will have the full daddy.
This will enable you to do full diagnostics, ECU flashing and CCF editing. Mint conditon.2005 D3 MJ05 F** (2009-2020) - 255000 - Gone

I would have taken this but I need it for a D4 and the cost to change it for that is just too much for what I would use it for!

Having owned both, MSV2 and GAP IID, yes, the IID is by far much more user friendly, but the MSV2 will still make a very good purchase at half the price of the IID.
Use it just once at £200 and leave it in the draw and you’ve not lost out.
Back in the day this would have been snapped up within minutes. Just shows what customer service does to a brand.

It is a great price for the kit as to buy new its 957 Euros + shipping. Sadly for me the software needed to suit a D4 is 654 Euros which might be ok for a garage using it everyday but not for the enthusiast who might only use it once or twice! Needs to go to someone that has a D3!
