[For Sale] Bike Rack clear out
So ... having just moved house I’ve lost my man cave and have a load of bike racks to move on.
All prices are for collection from Rickmansworth, NW London/Herts.
1. Landrover 2 Bike Rack with the curved bit so you can still open the boot. I had this on my Fullfat and it was good for 3 bikes. Comes together with the square bracket that slots into the Fullfat towbar - its this one. https://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/stc50063...ckets.html
£100 including the Bracket
2. Volvo roof mounted hydraulic bike
Carrier - 2 Bikes. It is this one.
Fantastic bit of kit particularly if you have a heavy bike. I have never used it. Bought it thinking it would be a good idea but got nervous about the height once on the top of the Disco 4 so opted for a Max Raxx instead. £100.
3. Max Raxx 4 Bike carrier together with carry bag and Adaptor for Swan Neck towbar. Have had this for the past 5 years and it has been faultless. The ability to swing out with the bikes on to access the boot is a great feature. £120
Let me know if any interest and I’ll get some pics up.
Many thanks

As requested some pictures. Includes an extension piece which I suspect is for extending/use with a trailer but no doubt others will correct me if wrong.
I paid extra for the Towball fitting and also the Carry Bag which is very useful to make sure everything stays together.
Some surface rust but easily sorted and structurally it is solid.

Was the Volvo one for a specific model or do you just have the lifting arm which appears to attach to the boot/rear of the rack?
I've googled it but come up blank I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

The Volvo one will work with any T Track roof bar. I set it up on a generic set of roof bars on the D4.D3 Offroad Prepped - Gone to Kenya

It’s two units that go onto the roof bars. One on either side of the car - so two bikes.D3 Offroad Prepped - Gone to Kenya

Hi
Any pics of the Land Rover one? more specifically the square bit for the tow hitch - I am guessing it is an approx 2" square that slots into the Westfalia towbars used on the fullfats but just want to make sure before I make an error

Apologies - been in hibernation.
Yes it is the 2inch slot in for the Westfalia Towbar.
