[For Sale] D4 heated steering wheel and clock spring/Squib
Selling due to D4 now sold, all fitted by me originally, and removed by me, i have cable tied the clock spring in the position it came off, as when they are new they have a locking tab.
Steering wheel in excellent condition, clock spring in perfect working order.
Came off a 2013 D4 NOT 4.5
Wheel has adaptive cruise switches, so came from a RRS.
£350
If you are ok to drive to me i will fit it FOC, if not i can arrange postage

Have you tried the RRS forum as you may have more luck on there especially with the adaptive cruise buttons etc "UNDERSTEER" ---is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" -is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" ------------is how far you take the fence with you.

I haven’t, but will have a go.
Strange question, but I’d of thought this would of sold, but i take it, as it’s a rrs wheel, people don’t want it in there disco ? I had it in mine for 3 years.

Think the problem is 2 fold, firstly you are asking very strong money for it and secondly, it’s not a Discovery wheel and has the adaptive cruise buttons.
How did you manage to get the cruise control to work as none of the Disco 3 or 4 vehicles have adaptive cruise?
The wheel may fit but does the cruise control work?"UNDERSTEER" ---is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" -is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" ------------is how far you take the fence with you.

It’s priced £50 more than the one that sold 3 days after, will take a bid on it,
All switches worked except the adaptive cruise, the loom is there, but I never bothered doing the mod.
The standard cruise worked fine, but the adaptive didn’t, due to not being fitted, all people need to do is swap their left hand switch pack to remove the adaptive buttons, I didn’t bother, never even noticed they were there after a few days, and had it in there
For three years

I am only trying to help and yes I know it’s only £50 more than the one that sold on here a few days ago as that was mine but it was a genuine D4 wheel not a RRS one and at £50 more your kinda taking the proverbial which is probably why you have had no interest
Until now you have not explained the cruise works but maybe someone will now consider it knowing the cruise actually still works
Good luck but said all I’m going to now."UNDERSTEER" ---is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" -is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" ------------is how far you take the fence with you.

I fitted this one to my old D3 and much preferred it to the one on the D4, being perforated they do not get shiny and slippy. The adaptive switches are just ignored.
I don’t know if it will work on a my14> D4, might be interested if anyone does know. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I rather had the perforated one over the disco one, I can check on topix if you would like me to to make sure it will work
