RRS wheels, side tubes, mud flaps, cubby fridge, Uncle Ray wheel protector, detachable tow bar with storage and 13 pin electrics, privacy glass, remote park heat and timed climate and Powerful UK front grill (original comes with car too). New lower wishbones fitted 3 weeks ago and new front discs, pads and sensors. New battery 6 weeks ago.
I have already put a deposit on my replacement car (17MY FFRR 4.4 SDV8 😍) and collect it from the dealers on Saturday 16th. They have mucked me about on the valuation of my D4 and the current offer (the third one) is £18500 again. At one point they discounted the car £500 and reduced the offer by £500 ???
Point being if someone wants a very tidy D4 HSE with a Warranty Direct (non betterment and LR rates) warranty which runs until 28/12/19. It always starts on the button and drives a treat.
I need your money by Friday next week or the dealer gets it to sell at a few grand more.
I obviously can't take any offers coz I already have an offer of £18500. This is trade in price with a warranty. Just trying to spread the love. So with that in mind I thought I'd make it available to you people before The dealer gets his hands on it.

I can understand that. It’s a shame that the dealers will palm it off and someone will still stick a two to three grand margin on it, give a three month warranty and someone will buy it. Whereas all this can be dodged and an 18 month full warranty is included. It’s always been looked after in the way of service and repair. This would be a perfect replacement for my D4 which was written off 3 weeks ago.
I will chase the insurance company (again) first thing Monday morning, but I fear I will run out of time as I appreciate your situation.

Would it be worth a chat to your bank to see if they’d give you a bridging loan. I can’t emphasise enough what a good deal this is. My warranty is effectively cancelled and lost if I trade it in as I claimed for the wishbones and a new compressor. Whereas if I sell privately it still runs until the 28/12/19. It has to go in on Friday or I have to have the cash. I’d love to help out a fellow forum member. I am not a fly by night and have been a member here over ten years. There are a number of guys who’ve dealt with me in the past and I’m sure if you search my posts they all speak of me as genuine. I just hate the thought of chucking 18 months of warranty away and letting the dealership make more money out of us than they already do!

The thought had crossed my mind about getting the money from the bank and them paying it straight off when the insurance money comes through. I will do some work on this tomorrow morning and hopefully I can come up with a solutions as like you said it is a cracking deal and would be a shame for it to get to the dealers. I will be in touch.
