[For Sale] D4 STEERING WHEEL £80
I have this lying around the garage. Its a d4 59 plate steering wheel. The leather is in great condition. Would be a good replacement for an old tatty wheel. £95 delivered

Is for my D3 , do u know if Im able to get it working plse, as I’ve currently got cruise retrofitted on mine and of course will have to buy the other switch for it , do have an iid
Mines a 2005 so just wish to ensure it fits and will work plse

Just been going through the multitude of threads ref the retrofit of fitting a D4 wheel on my D3 , scratching head,
Ref the cruise , is that what I want the box for please , or for everything to work plse
Including the heated bit but believe the steering wheel has to be a heated one and not being able to update a steering wheel to heated by fitting a different clock spring
Happy to buy the wheel and can then buy the bits later , just wished to check that cruise control can be added to it at a later stage with the addition of their black box
Currently have cruise fitted to my D3 wheel
Thks so much as always , know this subject has been to death so really appreciate u explaining that for me

If your current D3 steering wheel has cruise + ice controls, it's a simple enough mod to upgrade to a D4 wheel providing you buy the correct steering wheel, telephone integration works very well too.
You can add heated connections later if you buy a heated wheel and can also add flappy paddle compatibility too if you buy the flappy paddle wheel.Mods:

See the wheel for sale is a 2009 , not to worried about heated if I’m honest
Just looked at the blackbox kit and indeed think that’s a worthwhile mod and do prefer the look of the D4 steering wheel
U can see as per pic my steering wheel is worn , particularly on the left hand side
Thks as at least I now know with the addition of the black box and extra left hand switch I can then have working cruise and ICE controls all working the same with this D4 wheel as I did on my D3

That’s does indeed look a great update and think it will make a big improvement
I Did do the D4 stalks and found them a lot easier to use, shame they don’t light up , still have to occasionally look at them
May i ask is that a D4 screen u have in the middle please or just a different surround , torque installed ,
also ur interior looks superb
I haven’t got many interior pics , just ones after I fitted my seat covers

That screen is a Garmin 1490 with inbuilt TV and reverse camera fitted to a D4 surround.
Works faultlessly as it has done in the 5 or more years since I did the install.
Beats the factory nav hands down. Mods:
