Wish I had the money, as I would have bought that
Not to much of a hardship getting the wrap off as really nice looking motor that’s been well look after
Hope it sells soon

Would love to but my present car would sulk and sulk and sulk. Then it would talk to the Pink Panther and I’d really be in trouble.

Thanks.. I agree.. The wrap cost almost £4k! (it was a proper 3m job) but can be removed in a day.. I'm tempted to remove it myself TBH as its a bit like selling a house.. lots of people can never see beyond the colours of the carpets and sofa.... 1 TR6 Rusting away quietly

Ur welcome as indeed that’s how I also see it
Ouch , didn’t realise that wraps were than expensive
Do u use a hairdryer / hot air gun to remove it or just peel
Imagine as u also say with it removed should get more interest
Also like it has the correct gear lever, not those later rotary dials
Hope it doesn’t give u too much grief removing the wrap

Yes.. I have just taken the PAWWS plate off it and the original one will go back on over the weekend.
I think I will remove the Wrap ... then stick it on Autotrader and EBay.. There is one, localish (well its in Scotland) of the same spec and year but with over 20k more miles... and its £2500 more expensive ..!! So it can only be the colour that is putting folk off.
getting the wrap off is not too difficult. it requires a bit of patience and time a well as a bit of warmth.. The wrap was expensive as it was a 'proper' job using 3M... it could have been done for half the price but cheap wraps do not last, they are thin and not as protective or as robust as the 3M. My D3 also has wrap.. again 3M in matt anthracite.. its always getting comments as it does suit the Disco (imho)
The car Mrs G_Cam wanted has now been reserved (by some-one else) ooppss!
So the pressure i off a bit for a few days...1 TR6 Rusting away quietly

She has now, after months of deliberation (it seems longer ) and test drives .. she wants to go for a BMW i3 REX (2016 or later). There are lots around so we will easily find one of 'acceptable specification
She will still be driving the Big grooming van - which she loves BTW.. as she says 'she is not a fanny and prefers big cars'.. but she loved driving (and the acceleration) and running costs as well as the quirky looks of the i3... the thought of driving carbon fibre car is quite funny... all very Buck Rogers!
I'm keeping the Disco, until I can finish my other Projects and then i want to build an all electric Series LR (I wanted to convert a Disco 3 but I cannot find anyone who can hack the ECU's!)1 TR6 Rusting away quietly

Mrs G_ Cam says the Disco4.Com sticker is now included for FREE. This adds immense value as I am sure you will all appreciate Because of it she has been flashed a few times
And Price has now got the term 'ONO' associated with it (i think the forum rules are OK on this term?)1 TR6 Rusting away quietly

Cracking price
Can't believe people can't see past the pink
Have you thought of keeping this and selling the D3?

I know! it's Silver underneath... just think if the pink as being the protective wrapper..
We pick up the newer (ex demo) van tomorrow.. so could do with the cash..
Im going to stick it on eBay tonight.. a wider UK audience might be a better option..
I had thought about it but the D4 is just too nice to become a workhorse... Mind you I only did 3k miles in the D3 this past year..1 TR6 Rusting away quietly
