[For Sale] Fixed tow bar discovery 3/4
Just taken this fixed tow bar off my disco 4 as I very rarely tow and I bought a detachable one for if I need to. I don’t have the key for it so you can have it like that for £100 or I can fit a brand new lock on it with 2 keys for £125.
Collection from Maidstone in Kent or I do travel around a bit the south I may be able to meet depending on jobs I get in.

Some towrag had my brothers detachable one away so we got one of these for his think they are OME his cost £150 with no key or handle which aas an extra £24 so @ £100 bargin
Very good fitment as well 👍

Do you have to get involved with electrics, or just use the same set up as is already being used by the detachable one?
If the same electrics, do you literally just bolt this on?

Direct bolt on. The holes will be in the chassis for it. Uses the same electrics.
Yeah I just want to get rid as loads of stuff round the house to sell.

Have no interest in the sale of this
But can say if I remember rightly raise the suspension fit the towbar in the receiver and make sure locked in lift the arms up to the chassis should find a bolt on each side undo offer up arms and redo up bolts can even leave spare wheel in place towing electrics behind bumper cover if fitted only tools needed are I think 19mm socket and maybe WD40 total job aprox 30mins

It’s as easy at that! Took about 15 mins to remove and I guess just as easy to fit. And that’s with punching the pin out for the lock.

Bit more than that on a D4, on the D3 I think the bolts are already in situ, D4 you have to fit the special bolts in the chassis, getting them past the the Disco Bo :censored:cks is very tight, can make a big difference removing the rear bumper.
