You’re not doing well posting coz you’ve spent so long gleaning and polishing her!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen something quite as shiny as that!

ha ah to be fair i think that was just the light as it was just a quick clean. I think the previous owner must have ceramic coated it as it does clean easy and come up shiny for sure!
it is a bonny colour for sure!
lovely car but my pal who i sold my old disco to is selling it and i thought it would be rude not to buy it back! miss the space!
Cheers Paul

With light like that you sure you’re in Scotland?
Great looking car, I had exactly the same issue when I had an FL2… although I do like borrowing Disco Mikes one when my Disco goes in for work to be done

Yes a very useful feature.. used mine get up to a hanging branch and wrap a sling round it to remove it… thought I’d done well and was happy until half the tree above came down the following day in the storm

You were lucky it didn't come down when you were working on it.
As for the split tail gate, it's the feature I miss most from the D3/4. It was so useful in so many ways.New Defender L663 110 SE (known as Noddy!)
Sold Volvo XC90 R-Design (known as Basil)
Sold - D4 HSE (Known as Gerty)
No longer the Old Buses original owner
231,000 miles and counting
05 S manual owned from March 2005
D4 Face lifted
Still original injectors and turbo
V8 Front brakes
BAS Remap, Allisport Intercooler and deCat
EGRs blanked
T-Max split charge
Hanibal Expeedition rack
Prospeed ladder
Duratrac tyres
IID BT
BAS FBH control
