It's strange as he's been on here since and I've sent him a PM but it's still in my outbox, perhaps he's not getting any alerts?

I think that it stays in the outbox until a recipient opens it then moves to the sentbox? Not such a Disco Newbie now!

If email options are set then PMs also go to the recipients "ordinary" email and can be read there ... needs to be read within the PM system to move from outbox to sent. .
