[For Sale] LR Discovery 4 2014 HSE Auto Black 66k miles
Bought from here originally. Best car I’ve ever owned by a country mile. Now I’ve got that out the way.
My disco 4 HSE automatic had it a few years, lovely car, selling as it’s just not being used and highly unlikely to be due to deteriorating health, which is what the mileage hasn’t gone up much since buying it from here.
Spec (what I can remember anyway)
Heated front and rear seats (& steering wheel I think)
Bluetooth Integration for phone etc
USB charging, plus the usual 12v sockets
Reverse camera
Panoramic roof
Ivory leather interior
Alloy wheels (incl a fifth I bought from here to replace the space saver)
Full HSE spec, frankly too much to mention.
Electric memory front seats
Load protector mat (bought from here)
I think the rear load area has protective mats all over it, incl the tailgate.
It’s a fantastic looking car and in really good condition.
Mileage is 66k
Serviced by combination of Guy Salmon LR dealer and local LR independent
3 owners (IIRC first and second were same family, or person)
MOT until 11/2022
And as I’ve discovered the timing belts haven’t been done, I suspect it’s not been mentioned, as the car hasn’t really moved much in the last 2-3 years. In fact the LR Indy laughed at the lack of mileage when he last serviced it. Happy to move on price if this is a deal breaker.

Take a look on ebay/autotrader etc, two on ebay 68k and 74k miles, listed for 24 and 26k, both from dealers.
I think most people will stretch themselves financially to get any car, then wont have the 1+k needed to get the belts done.

belts would be time related not just mileage..good luck nice looking car....dont give it away

Thanks for the comments, seriously considering keeping it, as WBAC has it valued quite low at 16.7-17, compared to auto trader etc.
At that price I’m sure I’d be able to sell it all day long.

WBAC tend to be pretty close to the mark for true value . Auto Trader tends to be what people are asking which isnt what they sell for . There are not many thirsty SUVs selling at the moment as can be evidenced by the numbers appearing here recently. You dont see sold go up very often if at all.

If it’s any help I sold my 2014 HSE at very end of March with 72k miles, 12 months MOT & newly serviced at main dealer. Online pricing came in WBAC £18,420, Cazoo £19,525, Evans Halshaw up to £21,500 & Motorway up to £21,544. I sold it to Evans Halshaw at £21,400 after they saw it in the flesh. Scuffs on alloys but otherwise vgc. They sorted the alloys and it’s been on the CarStore site ever since, initially at £25,500 and since reduced a couple of times, currently at £23,790!MY2014 Discovery SDV6 HSE
