[For Sale] Nara Bronze D4
After 11 years & 150k miles of ownership we've downgraded(literally) to a newer D5.
I've put off advertising waiting for a repair to be done, this is up for sale now but is booked in to get a new exhaust flexi welded into the LH downpipe, I daren't let it go before that's been done as you can smell the exhaust inside the cabin when stationary - Should be available in 2 weeks max. Ill get a fresh MOT done for then too as its due in February.
Discovery 4 HSE
59 Plate MY10 with 175k miles
Nara Bronze paint in extremely good condition for age.
All the HSE standard spec for the year.
Non gen extended roof rails & side steps,
Facelift style grill + the original one,
Facelift rear lights,
Genuine mud flaps,
Alpine M780 DVD player & screens fitted into RRS headrests,
Bovee Bluetooth adapter,
Sprinter bottle jack.
Upper rear shelf.
Full rubber mats(not 3rd row).
Towtrust Fixed Towbar new last year.
Britpart Stainless Cat back exhaust
In the last month it’s had the following:
New Pilkington windscreen, and due to that I fitted a new scuttle trim, wiper arms & wipers,
New front discs, pads & refurbished powder coated genuine front calipers,
New rear discs, pads, and new carriers (calipers were new last year),
Full fluid flush using Castrol React Performance Dot4
New non genuine side steps,
New battery,
New wheel nuts all round,
Hunter Alignment.
August Last year it had £3800 spent at MMP as it had 24 new tappets fitted along with one new inlet manifold as a precaution since it was removed - the other side was on back order so not fitted. Timing belts done at the same time.
February Last year it had £3900 spent at JAS York having Crossover & EGR pipes replaced along with lots of other body off maintenance work.
All suspension arms are less than 2 years old.
New rear struts fitted July last year as a precaution.
New rear prop Feb last year.
The wheels are as shown with Avon tyres. It also comes with a set of 19" winters with Pirelli AT+ tyres - the spare is also fitted with an unused AT+ tyre.
Serviced to the book, by a mix of LR & independent garages up to roughly 105k miles. Then carried out yearly by myself following that with oil changes every 6 months (6 or 7k miles).
It will get a full exterior polish & better photos once its been in the garage but these photos give you the gist for the moment.
Asking £6000
Also - Sincere thanks to all on this forum who have been so helpful over the years. This is the only forum I've known where everyone has been so helpful & kind without any of the keyboard warriors often found in these places.
Edit:
Forgot I fitted a new fuel tank cradle & air tank last year. I painted them in 2k black and a coat of dinitrol to give them a chance.
And fitted 2 new Osram D3S Xenon headlight bulbs..

Yep, it’s £710. That’s what I paid last July to tax my MY2010 D4. 😡I’m a Disco 4 believer. What a vehicle!

Everyday a school day.
'Spose it's some compensation for the emissions crap that I drive around with...

I travelled the country(Scottish Borders down to Kent) to get this car as it was the only one with Nara Bronze & Black leather.
The only reason I got the exhaust was the original centre box was rattling, but it sounds great

Turns out the shaded area behind the on-screen controls is not part of the photo
