I have done this again and so there are now a couple of Discovery 4 5.0 V8s in the UK ... altho like everything COVID has had an impact so there has been major delays in pretty well every part of the process. There may be one or more for sale soon. Not sure what serious interest there is here.

They only did the 5L V8 in the first run of the Discovery 4, 2010-2013, with the D4.5 facelift there wasn't a petrol variant offered anywhere. So it's limited to the older 6 speed gearbox rather than the 8 speed in the later years, I think quite a few would sacrifice the extra 2 gears for an extra 2 cylinders.
What price do these tend to go for? I'm looking to get back into a Disco. I had a 3 but would like a 4, with a V8 would be even better. But I guess they might be out of my price range.

They can be quite a bit more expensive than a comparative second-hand Discovery 4 from the UK originally as there is so much added cost with importing one, the two main costs being; import duties and shipping.

2011 D4 V8 19k miles £28500 before duties. Transport to the UK not as expensive as you might think...
Obviously you'll need to use a browser that supports translate. Chrome does this simply...

Its taken me much longer to getting round to posting these than expected, various life things ended up in the way but hopefully good things are worth waiting for .
I started a new thread for those with any interest.
