[For Sale] Vauxhall Meriva SE
Folks - I dont know if this is of any use to anyone, but will give it a whirl.
My dad passed away at the tail end of last year, so we are looking to sell his car as mom doesnt want to drive it. Given they are (were) both mid 80's dad brought it as with its really wide door opening and higher seating postion it was easier for them to get in and out of, so it might suit somebody with the same sort of needs.
Its a 2014 Meriva 1.4 Petrol SE manual.
First registered April 2014
Had 2 former keepers when dad brought it (Feb 2018) - it now has 3 former keepers as we had to register in moms name so dad is a former keeper !!
Done just over 16k miles from new
MOT due start of Feb but I will MOT it in the next week or so, so it will have 12 months MOT.
Its in really good condition.
It has:
Metalic Grey Paint
Half Leather Interior
Full Panoramic Sunroof
Air Con
Cruise Control
Bluetooth Phone
Front and Rear parking sensors
Privacy Glass
"Flex" rear seating (you can increase/decrease boot space)
Alloys (inc full size steel spare which dad brought extra - it still has the air compesssor and gunk as well)
Fitted Mats & over Mats
All round will make someone a really nice car.
On Autotrader seem to be asking high top end of 6k for ones with higher mileage - there is one on right now with same miles for 7k.
I'd like to get mom a decent price for it but be realistic, so asking £6250 ono.

PS Worth not just looking at punting it on through WBAC or similar? Might be a stress free way of moving it on.

I might but not just yet - no mad hurry to sell it to be honest, its sitting on the drive out of the way.
I would rather someone had it who'd want it and not just a trader wanting to make a buck.
