The outlook for the brand as a whole looks bleak. On the way to work this morning I passed an Evoke and a Discovery sport and still cant tell the difference. At the traffic lights I got sat behind a Velar and they are just awful too. Lets hope the new defender isnt just aimed at getting more hairdressers to the salon if its raining outside!
I thought I was the only one who doesn't like the Velar!!
I sat behind a D5 at traffic lights, never realised how tiny the brake lights look.....bright but tiny.
Used to be that a Land Rover would catch my eye, don't notice anything younger than a D4 nowadays.
I saw my first one the other day and thought oh is that what people on the Disco forum keep going on about

Back in October 2016 I had the choice of a Landmark D4 or the new D5. Like most I did not like the rear end offset and for my use the D4 is more rural with two working dogs. Took the D4 for its second service five weeks ago and not had it back due to a inlet manifold leak. The loner is a new Velar fully loaded. The dogs love the massage seats. Seriously thinking of fitting a tow bar if they keep my D4 much longer. LR have moved completely from their original roots and no longer have a suitable vehicle for the farming industry. I notice some dealers have dual dealerships with Izuzu to cater for the rural community.

They can't stop this joint blowing apart despite fitting new throttle body and the adjoining elbow.
