Simply read the manual about Navigation and vocal command...
In French, I know the answer but I can guess that something along the line of "Navigation Cancel Vocal Guidance" or Navigation Cancel Itinerary" should work ok...
The answer is available in the manual using vocal orders...

Oh, ok...
BTW, you might be able to find that manual by going to the GTR Website.
From the Land Rover website follow owner, owner information and so on until you find the GTR website where, following a free inscription, you can get access to a lot of manuals including the owner's manual and thus the navigation one...
Might help... But I remember seeing a post earlier today saying that this website was down right now (I did not try it...)

You should have received a Satnav manual with the car. It is almost the same size as the car user manual. It should be in the black plastic folder containg all the other stuff. My car doesn't have a factory fit Satnav and the dealer quickly removed the manual from the pack, so they must generally keep spare copies. *Disco3 7-seat Auto

Hope this helps.
The voice command to cancel, is Navigation Cancel Guidance.
To cancel the voice, It's Navigation Voice Guidance Off.

Can I ask two questions regarding Sat Nav. Boith questions will undoubtedly underline my high degree of stupidity. Put it down to some senior moments (aka Old Age)
1. When coming home from Eastnor a few weeks ago I put in my home post code but the route given took or tried to take me all the way on Motorways i.e down to Bristol and along the M4. This was to get to West Berkshire. Is this a common occurrence? I have not noticed on other runs.
2. Some months ago the warden of a caravan site was showing me his Tom Tom (well you know how it is with caravanners!) and he was able (I think) to do a dummy run on the route he had picked. As I am going to Austria later this year I rather like the idea of a preview. Am I barmy or not? Thanks.

Re point two
Under your nav home option (after route is entered) go to Route options & then preview route
Easy !
