Hi,
I have recently bought a "genuine" Land Rover Sat Nav DVD on eBay, the part numbers quoted are 6G92-10E898-EA, YIW500260B, Denso Part Number 464210-5800. I have noticed on some posts here that the latest DVD is YIW500260, does the "B" at the end mean anything? Should I risk loading it into my Disco 3 HSE? Also the last 4 digits of the Denso part number seem to be different to others I have seen mentioned.
Any help would be really appreciated.
Cheers

That is strange ...i did see one on ebay ending in "b" , but just thought it was a typo error.
The denso number is lower than a normal YIW500260 number ..would have thought it would have gone upwards like all the rest have.
Pop it in a pc and see what amount of files are on there ..there should be somewere in the region of 7.5GB G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Thanks for the quick reply Wiggs, I will check it in the PC first, hopefully it is a typo (including the low Denso number)

Got the DVD today. The disk is clearly an older one that has been put into a new box. There is no YIW500260 reference on the DVD and it does not say 2007-2008 on the front of the disk, which I guess are the distinguishing features. Bummer !!!
Version.txt file on the DVD states that it is a 2006 v1.0 disk.
Given the seller the benefit of the doubt to sort it out, will see what happens
That will teach me for being over enthusiastic in search of a bargain !!! Bonatti Grey HSE 2.7TDV6

Hi Mal,
No need, the seller has contacted me, admitted that it was a genuine mistake and has offered a full refund. I guess all that remains now is to find a genuine 2007-2008 DVD !!

There is a guy on ebay selling a 'genuine' one for £17.50, he has confirmed it is the latest 260 version. I will order one and see if it is genuine. Also a member of avforums.com
