Sat Nav not working

Hi all

Having issues with the sat nav in my discovery 4 (2014 face lift model)

The GPS symbol has a red strike through it, I'm getting
no satellite signal so I'm unable to use the navigation system, the TMC still works though. Ive just fitted a new antenna and still nothing! any ideas.

Kind regards Gord

Welcome Sitboyatchap Thumbs Up

I entirely agree with Johnny Oxford that you need a decent mount for your 'phone - like him I use Brodit.

The JLR satnav is Censored , and as Johnny suggests you can use a suitable app on your 'phone. I use Google maps sometimes, but prefer Waze for its real time updates.

Start by checking/remaking the Fakra connections between the head unit and the screen. Bit of a faff pulling the centre console apart but I had the same problem a few years back and it worked for me. Spent ages belling out cables before going for the obvious...
