Sat Nav previous owner info issue

Please any advice appreciated having a strange issue with my Discovery 3 2005 se sat nav, after deleting previous owners home address and previous trip info and putting in my info it will store my info until I switch engine off and leave an hour or so it then reverts back to previous owners info again, apart from this works a treat. So far I’ve done a hard reset and upgrade disc with no success it’s got me beat.

Netherlands 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Zambezi SilverDiscovery 3

Hi,

I have the same sort of issues.. somehow or after I did a reset, the default country map was Belgium!
Although, the dvd nav player was straight out of the Uk (the one in the motor when I bought it was not functioning) the car was bought in/ from Germany a week before and I was in the Netherlands...

Got it working with the 2005 OEM sat nav DVD..

But bought a 2017/18 dvd set on the internet.. and again issues.. I do not see that it installs more recent firmware... the maps work, but somehow postal code databases are not functioning.... so same kind of issues again...

You also write about upgrade disks .....reset... etc.

Have a look at the default map, somewhere in the system, and use the old 2005 dvd before you look at hardware like gps antenna...
 Best regards
Harold

So need an answer to this....we have a 2013 FL2 that has the SDD type sat nav...it continuously reverts back to Belgium and every journey you have to reset it back to the UK...it also won’t let you put in a full UK postcode despite being set to the UK...
Anyone know why?
