Sat Nav Problem Disco 4

Just got a new D4 and our Sat nav will not work! It has had a software download but still no joy. It has a strikthrough the GPS logo on the Sat Nav screen and we think this is the problem. We have tried recallibrating and still no joy. The dealer doesnt know what the problem is and we need to take it back and let them haveit for a day :~(

Can anyone offer an advice??

The symbol indicates no GPS signal. Have you verified that GPS data is being received? The diagnostic screen can do this for you.

One possibility is a wiring fault, or unplugged connector, linking to the GPS antenna.

2016 Discovery 4 3.0 TDV6 HSE Auto Aintree GreenDiscovery 4

With the touchscreen at the Home page, touch and hold the screen top centre for 5 seconds, then to the same top left for five seconds - until the keypad appears. Enter the code 753 and you're in.

Cheer will give it a go tomorrow.. Assume it will be easy to see if GPS data is being rec'd?
