Sat nav rats nest
Well, i removed my Sat nav screen to perform the RR mod and found this!!!!!!
Presume it's all from the PlayStation in the upper glovebox,
I bought the cable from the shop here to fit a reversing camera as well,
Will this pose any issues????

How do you select the PS to be displayed? Select TV?
My guess it they they couldn't be bothered to buy FAKAR connectors, so just soldered the wires inside.
Make sure they haven't used the brown one, that you want to.
To find the wire you need to cut is actually inside the unit! Most screws require removing.
or you can just about see the yellow wires at the bottom

You select aux for the PlayStation to get the sound, u it has a roof mounted screen in the back, u can't watch it on the nav screen, I gather that's why my aux socket in the back never worked!!!!
Thinking of removing the PlayStation as I will never use it,

Should be ok for you then,
I'd love to know where they solder those wires too.
If you could take a pic when you have it apart.
Thanks.

Looks a bit of a bodge job the way the wires go into the unit,

Think they are audio cables, but that doesn't explain why they go in there either!

Got nav working in RR mode,
I've gone into secret menu,
Gone onto cameras, says none are installed, clicked on rear view Cam and PlayStation was playing, so they have soldered it onto that,
Time to open it up and remove these dodgy cables,
I'll take pictures of what they have done inside,

don't forget you need to edit the CCF to set reverse camera to fitted.
you could leave the video cable soldered in there, and then you won't need an expensive FARAK cable!
