If I modify to the RR sat nav conversion will it operate with my Pal camera? At the moment I can select between Pal and NTSC with Disco 3 secret screen. I don't want to go through the hassel of a camera swap now I've got the thing operating OK but I would like the auto camera on in reverse that RR version would give me.
Comments/advise please Keith

Thanks aljo, I'll go ahead and convert to RR in the coming week. I think I'll do the double pole switch mod so that will be easy to revert back to Disco 3 when needed. Keith

reverse camera
Hi, i am awaiting for my camera for the rear to arrive, in the meantime i have fitted the wire to nav screen purchased from the forum shop (thank-you) & also got the screen into RR mode. Thanks to the write ups on here. Once the camera arrives am i correct in thinking & reading on here that it will need to be enabled with the Faultmate tool , if so is anybody local to Bolton BL1 6 and what sort of price would i be looking at. Thanks for the help in advance. I am new on here so please take it easy on me LOL

This is the one I purchased.
Only 10 days to arrive.
Tested it, and the image is flipped. left/right
Don't appear to be any wires hanging out to cut. Anyone got any idea's ?
I guess this will be a problem, as if there is an obstruction and I maneuver to miss it, I will go the wrong way.

Pete, the type that replace the number plate light are really not the best. I have no idea why your image is flipped but this is something that seems to be a problem of late, maybe the latest batch out of China do this?
If you want my advice, go with a single camera like this: Linky. This type can be easily installed adjacent to the number plate lights but most importantly, they don't rob light from illuminating your number plate which was a big drawback for me.
Looks like this when fitted:
