Sat Nav 'version number'
Hi there,
As i'm new to all things Disco I wanted to check to see if my sat nav map (D4 late 2015) is the latest version (as i've now found out the last version of the map was discontinued in 2019....).
I've been through all the menu sub screens, etc but I must be missing something.
How do I find out my map version number? I've seen on ebay 2020/21 USB thumb drive updates for ninety five sponds but I don't want to buy one if I do have the latest version obviously...
Hope you can help?Discovery 4 HSE late 2015 Euro6

Cheers grzesiul!
I did that search and on my Disco (Late 2015) you have to hold down the Valet button for 10 seconds then these screens pop up.
I went through every drop-down to no avail unfortunately but thanks anyhow.
Attached are all three screens and one screen where is shows the 'Software version number'.

Oh, DO NOT hit the video button in the 'secret' list above because the screen goes dark (unless you have TV probably) and you will poo yourself. You have to hit the Home button on your dash for it all to go back to normal. Phew!Discovery 4 HSE late 2015 Euro6

Used them when i updated mine last year. Downloaded onto a USB drive and received activation code after providing V5 info.
Cheers, but as I don't know my map version/date number I may already be up to date (brought the disco last week) so until I find out how to find that i'll stick with Waze Discovery 4 HSE late 2015 Euro6

Why use the sat nav? I have someone sat next to me who knows everything
IMHO Waze is always more up to date than even the latest JLR SatNav on the day of release.
This doesn't only apply to JLR but to Mercedes & I am sure most manufacturers.
Vehicle manufacturers should stick to building vehicles!

For not much more than £95 (well around £400 ) you can install a box that will give you Carplay and therefore Waze through the screen - best of both worlds I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!
