I’ve come up empty handed with a link, but I recall reading that the Nav screen defaults to showing the LR logo when it’s not receiving an input. May indicate an issue with the MOST (fiber optic) network. The battery reset is a good first step…

OP; you say you have a GVIF, the GVIF is located under the passenger seat, max forward and up and access from rear passenger footwell, the cables that feed the screen are notorious for working loose on the GVIF, check the are pushed all the way home, also the micro switch on the dash that selects the inputs only moves forward one input at a time, in other words the selection is 1-2-3-4and so on depending on how many inputs have been set, when it reaches the max usually 5 it returns to 1-2-3etc, if you have it on an input that is not being used you will get nothing on the screen.
Check the GVIF connections before ripping anything out, also after making any changes the car must go to sleep(brake light off on dash) and engine restarted or switched on.

Bit of interesting reading for you Whistle

He says it’s stuck on the lr logo though.
So it’s not getting past start up due to no optical bus activity.

The gvif display has to be in nav mode from memory.

It won't get a signal if the cable has come loose Thumbs Up

The nav unit under the seat only generates the nav display

Home and 4x4 screen is generated within the dash display unit

As others have said, it's probably the MOST bus.

The Head unit is the MOST master. On power up, the display will show the LR logo and wait for the MOST master to tell it to cancel the logo and what to do next.

There's a doc floating around called DensoSat-Operation.pdf that outlines the communications and initialization process.
