| Screen washers stopped working? Now fixed. |
|
Screen washers stopped working.
Both front, rear and headlight washers seem to have gone awol, found & checked fuses, test ok.
Are they separate pumps or all the same, any pointers where too look/check next?

Front & rear are the same pump, headlamps separate one.

Inside front n/s bumper/wheel , undo and remove plastic inner wheel arch cover to access Metal auto sump & fluid change (3 hrs)
LR door puddle projectors (10 mins)
Tinted Bonnet wind deflector (10 mins)
All Intercooler pipes and Tbolts (2hrs)
3 injectors replaced so far (30mins)
Sunroof drain pipes both sides 2.5 hrs)
Rear discs, shoes,pads,callipers,flexi hoses, rigid brake line, n/s upper hub carrier bush and rear n/s upper arm (13hrs over 2 days)

Cheers, I'll investigate further, first job see if powers going to pump when I ask it too run.

Thought my windscreen washers had broken.
Turned out both hoses under the bonnet had popped off and was  water all over the engine

My head light washers are like a fountain when I top it up to the top  Metal auto sump & fluid change (3 hrs)
LR door puddle projectors (10 mins)

Fixed, but don't know how.
Located pumps, both getting power.
Removed pumps, put 12v too them both on bench, both ran, put them back tried them and both worked, re filled bottle front and rears now wash perfectly.
