SE Spec - CD Player ?
Was sitting in an HSE model today and noticed there was an insert behind the drop down cover on instrument panel for CD/DVD's ?
As the SE doesn't have drop down panel does this mean there is no where to put CD'd ? Our current D4 XS means to can upload CD's to the HDD

Se model should have a six disc cd player up front as mine did got a picture of what you were looking at Discovery 3 se gone

Disco 5 S& SE donot get a cd player or hard disc drive, radio, usb or bluetooth. HSe & lux get shiny black console and drop down flap where air con controls are, behind this is the single slot cd player and hard disc drive.

no mention of CD on that for any spec peter ?

I'm sure the SE & above will have CD & hard drive, but as you say not shown.
Will have a look in owners manual, see what I can find out.Peter

No CD player on any Discovery 5 as far as I am aware, all models either play media from connected devices or such media is copied onto the built in HDD where fitted.2016 Discovery 4 Commercial

The HSE & above definitely play CD,DVD & blueRay via the hmdi sockets. As well as any version with rear screens.
It's just the SE spec I'm unsure of.Peter
