Seat Belt Lamp stays on when Passenger gets out? HELP |
|
Has anyone had this fault, when the passenger gets out and the dash seat belt warning lamp comes on it stays on.
I have disabled the bong a long time ago, and the only way to reset the lamp is to switch off the ignition and restart the Disco. This happened to me last year... drove me mad as I didn't know how to disable the bong at the time. I had to have a sensor replaced in the end. It only happened when the passenger heated seat had been used and I had dropped off passenger whilst keeping the engine running. As you slide down the banister of life

Yep I was using the heated seat also, but out of warranty so I will have to live with it for the time being. Try making sure the heated seat is switched off before the seat belt is unbuckled. ISTR that this sometimes stopped the bong. As you slide down the banister of life
