Seat belt warning chime
Someone i know just got a new 2010 model with keyless entry and is keen to disable the seatbelt warning chime as he was able to do with his old one (Key in ignition, turn to switch the electrics on, sit in the driver’s seat and put the buckle in and out of the buckle lock 9 times within one minute) but he appears to be having trouble doing it with his new one as it has keyless entry. Is there an updated procedure for the keyless cars??? Thanks.

The procedure didn't work on mine whilst sitting on the seat but worked when done whilst standing outside.
I did it while seated, although I unplugged/plugged it 10 times, there is a quiet beep when it deactivate it.
I think it is important to have the car completely off before you start the procedure, I'm not sure if it works after driving.
What I did:
Car completely off
Turned on ignition (keyless entry: Push start without keeping the brake down).
Plugged/unplugged 10 times
No more seat bong.

AFAIK the old trick with the seatbelt in & out 9 times doesn't work on the newer models after 5/10, they have changed the system. I'd be more than happy to be proved wrong as mine is driving me up the wall
