Seat height adjuster

Hi,
the driver seat in my newly bought LHD Disco4 S ( manual seat adjuster )
does not hold the height anymore. After some time, the seat has lowered itself.
The lever moves very easily, when the seat is without load, feels like missing
friction. Any idea, what needs to be done ?
regards from frosty Germany

It's the lever.....
When moving out of the car
in my garage, I touch it when sliding through
the half opened driver door....
I removed the plastic cap ( took some time to find
the fixing screw ) and bent it slightly downwards.
It's better now, but not yet the optimum.
Maybe I'll cut it and weld the arm in a lower position.
2cm should be ok and allow function as before.
Issue will be the fixing screw of the cap, as it may
be not accessible anymore.

Final solution:
lever cut and welded back, but
15 mm lower and 10 mm forward,
using a small piece of metal as
lever extension .
Works fine, no touch condition
any more when entering or leaving
the driver seat.
