When I first started caravanning we used to put a split charge relay connected to the battery and switched by the alternator. This would charge a battery carried in the boot of the car so that when we were away for any length of time without mains electric hook up we always had a spare charged battery. I was wondering if there was a way of doing this in by D3. I can still buy the same relays through towsure for about £10 but am unsure as to if it will be possible with the D3 electrics. Hope that someone might have an idea how to do this if at all possible. My caravan batteries ar both 110AH leisure.

ISTR that it is already sorted for charging so would just need to find the correct connections and attach straight to the batteryTintenter
