Number plates are only required for road use
Top bloke who fitted the winches did 100% of the work on the righthand one and 90% of the lefthand one. And he drinks his tea in pint mugs
Slimer, cheers matey although, as you know, I drink everything in pint mugs anybody else want the goodies fitted? as long as you can last a weekend at the 'gin palace' and you've got 50-ish posts under your belt... no problemo

Strangely enough I didn't see any gin being drunk, lots of Desperados and Vino Colapso though Lucky we were working outside, after that curry I'd hate to think what it'd be like in a confined space ... The End

Might seek advice on how to fit the "A" Foam Bull Bar I've just bought on Ebay if I get stuck
Thought the foam might help keep the front end afloat next time I'm off-watering in the D3 8) Coffeecup

compared to the 'brush guard' and the winch, it should be a piece of pastry, beware of the N/S mountings though - the mountings may not be where they should
you might be better with the airbag exterior conversion kit ?

Both cars look great fellas, must have been alot of twitching curtains around with those two parked in the drive. Is the winch removable? i.e. to show the number plate.'05 Discovery TDV6 S+ Commercial, Zambezi Silver, Ebony Black Cloth.

Nope, it's the other way round, there is a mounting plate for the registration, which uses twist - locks to mount above the fairlead. Fitting the winch involves chopping great swathes of bumper away...
we left them off for the photo's to save having to edit the numbers out
