Hi all,
Just took the LR up the road to the shop and back and after a minute or so in each direction a short series of beeps emitted from the car with no warning notice anywhere to be seen...the only change to the last time I took it out was that I fitted roof bars today.
Any idea what those beeps could be for? Keys are fine and suspension was at normal setting.
Cheers,

Something on the passenger seat activating the seat belt warning?

I had my phone and wallet there but do that all the time so don't think it is that.
It's weird, never had this before and...hang on a bit...I have a bad cold - the reason I went out was to get cold medicine for myself - I wonder if I forgot to put my OWN seatbelt on!! I honestly can't remember. Wouldn't a warning message come up though saying that I should be wearing a seatbelt and wouldn't it be continuously telling me? I have a D3, so don't know if this applies to D4, but mine beeps a few times every 30 seconds or so and a symbol on the dash flashes, but not continuous.

I guess I'll look out for it tomorrow morning on my way to work - it only takes a couple of minutes to get to the shop locally so it may be that I simply forgot to put my seatbelt on and didn't notice the graphic on the screen expecting to see a written message. Don't know if you've tried this already, but in the Setup Menu (accessed via steering wheel controls) there is a menu option to "Show warnings". This will show you any warnings that you've dismissed already.
I'm guessing it never even showed you a warning, otherwise you'd know. Suzuki Vitara 3dr

Thanks for the responses!
Looks like I was just a numpty!
In my man-flu-inspired stupor I must've forgotten to buckle up to pop to the local shop. No beeps at all today...
